How PLG Kids handles parent and child learning data.

PLG Kids is designed to support COPPA, GDPR, and India DPDP child privacy requirements. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how parents can request access or deletion.

Information We Collect

  • Parent email and account details needed to sign in and manage the account.
  • Limited child profile data needed to operate the learning experience, such as first name or nickname, age range, class level, lesson progress, and parent-managed settings.
  • Subscription and payment status, while payment card or wallet details are handled by Razorpay or the relevant payment provider.
  • App and device information needed for security, troubleshooting, analytics, and performance.

Voice And Microphone Practice

PLG Kids does not intentionally store child voice recordings on PLG Kids servers. Speech recognition may be processed locally or through the browser/device speech recognition provider depending on the device and browser. We use the speech result only to evaluate the lesson response.

Browser speech behavior can vary. Some browsers may use a server-based recognition service and may require internet access for speech recognition.

Payments

Payments are processed through Razorpay or another payment provider shown at checkout. PLG Kids stores payment status and transaction references needed for subscription access, billing support, refunds, tax, fraud prevention, and legal recordkeeping.

Retention, Parent Rights, And Deletion

We keep account, profile, learning, and billing records only for as long as needed to provide the service, support families, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect account security.

Parents can request access, correction, withdrawal of consent, or deletion of child profile data. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, payment, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
